Terms of sale
Last updated : 13 September 2026
These terms apply to bookings, tickets, artworks and products offered by Ge’eza on its website and on its premises. Any order implies acceptance.
1. Table bookings
An online booking is a request; it is confirmed by WhatsApp, phone or e-mail. The table is held for 20 minutes after the booked time. For groups of 8 or more, coffee ceremonies and private hire, a deposit may be requested; it is specified at confirmation. Kitfo must be ordered 24 hours ahead.
2. Event tickets
Prepaid tickets are paid by Wave, Orange Money, bank card or on site as communicated at the time of the order. They are personal, non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except in case of cancellation or postponement by Ge’eza, in which case they are fully refunded or transferred at the customer’s choice. Places are limited; entry is guaranteed on presentation of the order reference.
3. Artworks
Artwork prices are stated in FCFA or communicated on request. An online purchase request reserves the work for 72 hours, after which it is put back on sale if payment has not been received. Each work comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist or the gallery. Collection takes place on our premises; shipping within Senegal or abroad is available on quotation (packing, transport, insurance and customs formalities borne by the buyer). The artist retains intellectual property rights over the work.
Payment: Wave, Orange Money, bank transfer or bank card. Any bank charges are borne by the buyer.
4. Concept store
Concept store products are sold in the shop and, once the online opening is effective, on the website. Prices are in FCFA, all taxes included. Returns accepted within 7 days for non-food products in perfect condition, excluding unique pieces.
5. Allergies and diets
Tell the team about any allergy or intolerance before ordering. The menu indicates vegan dishes; traditional injera is made from teff and naturally gluten-free.
6. Liability
Ge’eza cannot be held liable for unavailability attributable to payment providers, carriers or force majeure. In case of exceptional closure, the bookings and tickets concerned are refunded or rescheduled.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by Senegalese law and the applicable OHADA Uniform Acts. In case of dispute, the parties first seek an amicable solution; failing that, the courts of Dakar have sole jurisdiction. Contact: geezacultures@gmail.com · +221 78 660 07 07.
